these presents do grant, bargain sell and convey unto him the said John B.
Shaw all of that certain lot piece tract or parcel of land situated lying and
being in the County of Alachua in the State of Florida particularly known
and described as follows to wit South five (5) acres of lot thirty two (32) of the
survey of W.K. Cessna of Section twelve (12) township nine (9) Range twenty
(20) the said lot situated in the SE corner of the Section the said land all in
Alachua County Provided also that the said J.B. Shaw shall leave a strip
thirty (30) ft wide of the said land for a public highway containing by
estimation five (5) acres of land more or less. Together with all and singular
the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging or in any=
wise appertaining. To Have and Hold the same unto him the said John
B. Shaw and to his heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee
simple and absolute. And she the said Mary J. Shaw do hereby covenant
and agree to and with the said John B. Shaw that she is lawfully seized in
fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed; and that she has good and
lawful right to sell and convey the same that the same is free from all encumber-
ances of any kind whatsoever and that I will and my heirs executors and
administrators shall and will forever warrant and defend the same unto
him the said John B. Shaw and to his heirs executors administrators and
and assigns against the lawful claims and demands of any and all
persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the same. In

the 15th day of February AD 1882

Alachua County } before me personally appeared Mrs Mary J. Shaw wife
of Jas K. Shaw the grantor in the foregoing conveyance who being first
duly questioned and examined by me separate and apart from her said
husband says and acknowledges before me that she did sign the said
deed of conveyance for the purpose of releasing relinquishing and
renouncing all of her right of separate estate in and to the land
in said deed described and that said relinquishment and renunciation
of separate Estate was done and made by her freely and voluntarily
and without any compulsion constraint apprehension or fear of or
from her said husband.
