said Sarah R. Barnes her heirs and assigns in fee simple forever.
And I the said Leonard G. Dennis do covenant with the said Sarah R. Barnes that
I am seized in fee of the above described and granted premises that they are free
from all incumbrances and that I will and my heirs executors and administer=
ators shall warrant and defend the title to the same against the lawful claims
or demands of all persons whomsoever claiming by through or under me
And for the consideration aforesaid I Sarah E. Dennis wife of the said Leonard
G. Dennis do hereby release unto the said Sarah R. Barnes her heirs and
assigns all right of or to both dower and homestead in and to the afore= 
granted premises. In witness whereof we the said Leonard G. Dennis and
Sarah E. Dennis have hereto set our hands and seals this eighth day
of December AD 1881

Before me personally appeared Sarah E. Dennis personally known to me to be
the wife of Leonard G. Dennis who is the grantor in the foregoing deed who
upon being duly examined by me separate and apart from her said
husband and all persons acknowledged that she signed the above deed
with her said husband for the purposes of releasing and renouncing and
relinquishing all her right of dower homestead or other kind whatever to
the aforegranted premises and that she executed the same freely and
voluntarily and without any constraint compulsion apprehension or
fear of or from her said husband that the same is her free act and deed
and that she does not wish to retract
