assigns in fee simple absolute forever and we the said Mary E.
Furman and C.D. Furman her husband do hereby covenant and agree
to and with the said Lucy Upson that they lawfully seized in fee of
the property herein and hereby conveyed; And that we have good and
lawful right to sell and convey the; that the same is free from all
encumbrances of any kind whatsoever and that they will and their heirs
executors and administrators shall and will forever warrant and
defend the same unto her the said Lucy Upson and to her heirs
executors administrators and assigns against the lawful claims and
demands of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter

State of Florida } Know all men by these presents That I, Isabella
Alachua County   } Strickland of the aforesaid County and State
for and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred dollars to 
me in hand paid by S.F. Halliday of the County of Alachua in
the State of Florida the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge
have granted bargained sold and convey and by these presents do
grant bargain sell and convey unto him the said S.F. Halliday
all of that certain lot piece tract or parcel of land Situated lying
and being in the County of Alachua in the State of Florida
particularly known and described as follows to wit: The south half
of Lot Number Eight of plat or map of Section Sixteen (16) Township
Ten (10) Range Twenty (20) drawn and made by Wm C. Miller CE
and on file in the Clerks office containing Twenty (20) acres
