     The United States to Cyrus Hall

Certificate  }  The United States of America
No 2956      } To All to whom these Presents shall come Greeting: Whereas
Cyrus Hall of Alachua County Florida has deposited in the General Land
Office of the United States a certificate of the Register of the Land office at
Gainesville Florida whereby it appears that Full Payment has been made by
the said Cyrus Hall according to the provisions of the Act of Congress on the
24th day of April 1820 entitle "An Act making further provision for the sale of the
Public Lands" and the acts supplemental thereto for the lots numbered
one and four of section Seven in township nine South of range twenty
two East in the districts of lands formerly subject to sale at Newnansville
now Gainesville Florida containing seventy nine acres and fifty six hundredths
of an acre, according to the Official Plat of the survey of the said lands
returned to the general Land Office by the surveyor General which said
Tract has been purchased by the said Cyrus Hall. Now Know Ye that
the United States of America in consideration of the premises and in
conformity with the several acts of Congress in such case made and
provided Have Given and Granted and by these presents do give and
Grant unto the said Cyrus Hall and to his heirs the said tract
above described To have and to hold the same together with all the
rights privileges immunities and appurtenances of whatsoever nature
thereto belonging unto the said Cyrus Hall and to his heirs and
assigns forever. In Testimony whereof I Rutherford B. Hayes
President of the United States of America have caused these letters
to be made Patent and the seal of the General Land Office to be hereunto
affixed. Given under my hand at the City of Washington the first
    (  )               day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand

State of Florida } Know all men by these Presents that we Jas S. Bailey
Alachua County   } and Mary A. Bailey wife of Jas S. Bailey of
the County and State aforesaid of the first part for and in consideration
of the sum of Two Hundred and forty dollars lawful money of the United
States of America to us in hand paid by W.W. Sykes of the same place
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and
sold and by these presents doth grant bargain sell and convey unto
the said W.W. Sykes his heirs and assigns all that certain tract or
