Calvin Waits the Grantors in the foregoing conveyance who being first duly
questioned and examined by me separate and apart from her said husband says and
acknowledges before me that she did sign the said deed of conveyance for the
purpose of releasing relinquishing and renouncing all of her right to the land
in said deed described and that said relinquishment was done and made by
her freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint apprehension
or fear of or from her said husband

                       "Deed"
This Indenture made the 27th day of October in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and eighty one Between Cynthia J. Waits and
Calvin Waits her husband of the County of Alachua and State of
Florida of the first part and Daniel A. Maxwell of the said County
and State of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the
first part for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty
dollars lawful money of the United States of America to them in hand paid
by the said party of the second part at or before the ensealing and
delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have
granted bargained sold aliened remised released conveyed and confirmed
and by these presents grant bargain sell alien remise release convey
and confirm unto the said party of the second part and his heirs and 
assigns forever lots No 2 & 4 in block five lying and being in Wait's
Crossing and State of Florida Together with all and singular the 
tenements hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or
in anywise appertaining and the reversion and reversions remainder
and remainders rents issues and profits thereof, and also all the estate
right title interest dower and right of Dower separate estate property
possession claim and demand whatsoever as well in law as in Equity
of the said parties of the first part, of in and to the same and every part
and parcel thereof with the appurtenances: To Have And To Hold the
