            John C. Ley to E.F. Ley
                        "Deed"
State of Florida  } This indenture made and entered into this 8th day of September
County of Alachua } AD 1881 between John C. Ley party of the first parte and
E.F. Ley his son party of the second part witnesseth that for and in
consideration of natural love and affection and the further consideration
of the sum of one Dollar ($1.00) to the party of the first part in hand paid
by the party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
the said party of the first part hath bargained sold and doth hereby convey
unto the said party of the second part all that certain Lot or parcel
of land known and described as follows: to wit Commencing at a
post on the East line of Lot twenty Eight (28) Watson's Survey of Seminary
Lands midway between the Row of Pecan and the Row of Orange Trees
North of the aforesaid pecan trees running west about one hundred &
       (160)
Sixty yds^to a post thence North about two hundred and ten (210)
yards to the line of Frier's Land thence East to the North East Corner
of Lot No Four (4) Township four (4) Range five of Smith Survey in
Micanopy section twenty Six (26) thence on East line of said Lot South
to the place of Starting and containing Eight (8) Acres more or less
to have and to hold the above described and granted premises with all
and singular the rights improvements and appurtenances thereunto
belonging or in anywise appertaining to the only proper use
benefit and behoof of the said party of the second parte his heirs
executors and assigns in fee simple forever and the said party of the
first part hereby covenant to and with the said party of the second part
that he is Seized in fee of the above described and granted premises and
every part thereof and that he will and his Executors and admin=
istrators shall warrant and defend the titles to the same to the said
party of the second part his heirs Executors and assigns against
all lawful claims whatsoever in testimony whereof the said party
of the first parte hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his 
seal on the day and year above written in
