       Washington Morrison to Joseph Cain
                         "Deed"
This indenture made and executed this tenth day of february AD
one thousand eight hundred and eighty two between Washington
Morrison and Rebecca P. Morrison his wife of Alachua County State
of Florida of the first part and Joseph Cain of Howard County and
State of Indiana of the second part witnesseth that the said Washin-
gton Morrison and Rebecca P. Morrison for the consideration of the
sum of Twelve Hundred and fifty Dollars in hand paid by
Joseph Cain the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath sold
and by these presents doth grant bargain sell convey and
deliver unto the said Joseph Cain his heirs and assigns the following
described parcel of land lying in the aforesaid County, The North west
quarter of the North west quarter and all the land lying on the
west side of orange creek of the North East quarter of the North West
quarter both described pieces of land being in section Thirty Six Town=
ship ten South of Range twenty two East containing in all forty six
acres more or less. To have and to hold the said before described
premises together with all the appertenances whatsoever thereunto
belonging unto the said Joseph Cain his heirs and assigns for
ever and the said parties of the first part will forever warrant and
defend the right and title thereunto against the claims of all
Persons whatsoever In testimony whereof the said Washington
Morrison and Rebecca P. Morrison have hereunto set their hands
and seals The day and year first above written

to me well known as the wife of Washington Morrison the grantor in
the foregoing conveyance who being first duly questioned and examin=
ed by me separate and apart from her said husband says and
acknowledges before me that she did sign the said deed of
conveyance for the purpose of releasing relinquishing all of her right of
Dower in and to the land in said deed described and that said
relinquishment and renunciation of Dower was done and made by her
freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint
