Internal Improvement Fund to Peninsular Rail Road Company

  Whereas under the act of the Legislature of Florida entitled "an act to provide
for and encourage a liberal system of Internal Improvements in this State
approved January Sixth eighteen hundred and fifty five certain lines of
railroad were designated as proper Improvements to be aided from the
Internal Improvement Fund in manner as therein after provided among
which was included" a line from Amelia Island on the Atlantic to the 
waters of Tampa Bay in South Florida with an extension to Cedar Key in
East Florida" and whereas, it is provided in said act that on the routes indicated 
for the construction of the different lines of railroad the State thereby granted to
each of the different companies that might thereafter constructs portions of such line
or route the alternate Sections of State lands on each side for six miles: and 
whereas the state lands designated by odd numbers have been allotted under
agreement as the alternate Sections to which such company in entitled under
said act upon the construction of any portion of such line of railroad: and whereas
a portion of said line of road from Amelia Island extending from Waldo to
Ocala has been constructed and equipped by the Peninsular Railroad Company
a corporation organized under the general laws of the State of Florida deriving its
rights through the Florida Railroad Company and Satisfactory evidence has been
furnished to the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund of the State of
                                 to Ocala
Florida that said road form Waldo^has been constructed and equipped accor=
ding to the provisions and specifications of said act approved January
Sixth Eighteen hundred and fifty five and the amendments thereto
and whereas the following described lands belonging to the Internal
Improvement Fund and embraced in the odd numbered Sections lie within
with in Six miles of the route of said railroad between Waldo and
Ocala and therefore inure to the Peninsular Railroad Company under
the grant made as aforesaid by the Legislature of Florida to wit:
The South half of the South West quarter of Section Twenty one the East
half of the North West quarter and the South West quarter of the South
East quarter of Section Twenty Three the west half of the North West
quarter of section Twenty nine; (The East half, the East half of the North
west quarter the East half of the South West quarter and the South West
quarter of the South West quarter of Section Thirty-three in Township Nine
South of Range Twenty Two East. The East half of the North West quarter
the South East quarter and the East half of the South West quarter
of Section Five: The Lots numbered Two of Section Seven the South East
quarter of the North West quarter of Section Nine the East half of the North
West quarter and the East half of the south West quarter of Section Eleven
the South half of the North East quarter and the South East quarter of
Section Thirteen The East half of the North East quarter of the North East
quarter of the South East quarter. The West half of the South East quarter
and the South East quarter of the South West quarter of Section Seventeen
all of fractional Section Nineteen. The South East quarter of the North
East quarter the west half of the North West quarter the North East
quarter of the South East quarter and the West half of the South East quarter
