The Peoples Bank of South Carolina To Simon J. Temple
Deed
This Indenture made and Entered into this Twenty seventh day of December
Anno Domini Eighteen hundred and Eighty Witnesseth that on the Seventeenth
day of June AD 1867 James T. Soutter and John McRae as trustees of the
Florida Rail Road Company Executed five or more several deeds in favor of
Donald L. McKay Prest conveying to him certain lands in the State of
Florida all of which will more fully appear by reference being made
to the records of deeds in the Counties of Bradford, Clay, Alachua
Putnam and Levy in the State of Florida and Whereas the said D.L.
McKay was at the date of said deeds the President of the Peoples Bank
of South Carolina a body Corporate under the laws of the State of South
Carolina and Whereas the consideration paid for said lands consisted of
certain bonds and securities all of which were then the property of said
Bank by virtue of which ownership the said Bank became the rightful
owner of all lands mentioned or described in said deeds. Now therefore know
all men by these presents That the Peoples Bank of South Carolina a
body Corporate under the laws of the State of South Carolina party of the
first part for and in consideration of the sum of Seven Thousand four hundred
and Sixty Three & 75/100 Dollars to it paid by Simon J. Temple of the County of
Bradford and State of Florida party of the second part the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged and confessed hath granted bargained sold and
conveyed, and doth by these presents grant bargain sell convey and
confirm unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns
forever all those several tracts or parcels of land lying and being in the
county of Bradford in the State of Florida and more particularly known
and described on the public maps and surveys of said State as
