                   "Power of Attorney"
The State of Mississippi } Know all men by these Presents that I Alexander
County of Marshall       } E. Crook of the State and County aforesaid 
have made constituted and appointed and by these presents do make 
constitute and appoint William D. Evins of the State of South Carolina and 
County of Anderson my true and lawful Attorney for me and in my 
name place and Stead to grant bargain and sell all that tract and 
parcel of land situate, and being in the State of Florida, and County of 
Alachua lying along Orange Lake and Known as section 32 in Township 
11 Range 21 containing 620 acres of land and 20 acres of land covered 
by water be there more or less, whereof I am entitled and interested in 
by the Will of Dr A. Evins Deceased and to grant bargain and sell 
the same for such Sum or price and on such terms as to him shall 
seem meet; and for me, and in my name to make execute and deliver 
good and sufficient deeds and conveyances for the same with power of 
Substitution giving unto my said Attorney full power and authority 
to do and perform all and every act and thing whatsoever requisite 
and necessary to be done in and about the premises as fully to all intents 
and purposes as I might or could do if personally present with full power of 
Substitution hereby ratifying and confirming all that my said attorney or 
his Substitute shall lawfully do or cause to be done by virtue thereof.
