Witnesseth that the parties of the first part for and in consideration
of the sum of Two thousand dollars to them paid the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold and
conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey to
the party of the second part all that certain town lot or tract of
land lying and situate in the Town of Gainesville in the county
of Alachua in the state of Florida and known and described as
follows: to wit: The North half of the lot formerly occupied by and
known as the A.T. Banks lot two hundred feet East & West by
one hundred feet North & South lying on the East side of University
Street & bounded on the North by what is known as the Friedenburg
lot which is now occupied by Jacob Endel and is owned by him
or his wife on the East by the lot of Mrs Mary B. Snell known
as the "Bevill Hotel" lot, on the South by the lot owned by
Samuel J. Burnett and on the West by the lot of J.H. Roper known
as the Oak Hall lot: To Have and To Hold to the said party of
the second part her heirs and assigns with all the rights and
privileges thereto appertaining and the title to the same the parties
part as against themselves & their heirs to the party of the
second part her heirs and assigns shall and will forever warrant
and defend by these presents In Testimony whereof the parties of
the first part have hereunto set their hands and affixed their
seals the day and year before written
