Bradford State of Florida have granted bargained and sold and do by
these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Joseph W.
Malphurs and his heirs and assigns forever the following described Lands
to wit The South East quarter of the North West quarter of Section Four
in Township Seven South of Range Nineteen East containing Forty
acres and lying and being in the County of Alachua in said State of
Florida To Have and to Hold unto the said Joseph W. Malphurs and his
heirs and assigns forever in fee simple.
In Testimony Whereof A Majority of said Trustees have hereunto
subscribed their names and affixed their seals and have caused an
impression of the seal of "The Florida State Land Office" to be made
hereupon at the Capitol in the City of Tallahassee on this the Seventh day
of October AD Eighteen hundred and seventy eight

This Indenture made this the Fourth day of April in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and Eighty one between Stephen P. Bevill as
Commissioner of the County of Alachua and State of Florida party of the first
part and Mrs Charlotte E. Mayo of the same State & County party of the second
part Witnesseth That whereas the Hon J.C. Gardner County Judge in and for
said County of Alachua said State did by order made and rendered in his said
Court the 2d day of March AD 1881 appoint and empower the undersigned
Commissioner to sell at public outcry in said County on Monday the fourth
day of April AD 1881 the real property hereinafter described belonging to the estate
of Margaret L. Pardue deceased Now Therefore by virtue of said order and the
decree of said Court and due and public notice of said sale the said
Stephen P. Bevill as Commissioner as aforesaid party of the first part on
Monday the fourth day of April AD one thousand eight hundred and
eighty one in pursuance of said order and decree did sell at public out-
cry to Charlotte E. Mayo being the highest bidder therefor and in consideration
of the sum of Six Hundred Dollars Dollars in hand paid the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged the said Stephen P. Bevill as Commissioner as
aforesaid has bargained sold and granted and by these presents doth sell
grant and convey unto the said Charlotte E. May her heirs and assigns all
