that certain tract or parcel of land situated in said County and State
and described as follows to wit: Fifty acres more or less the same being
a fractional portion of the North half of Section 31 Township Nine (9)
South Range 20 East Together with all and singular the tenements
hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise
appertaining and all the estate right title interest property possession
claim and demand whatsoever as well in Law as in Equity in and to
the above described premises and every part and parcel thereof as fully by
virtue of his said authority as he may convey the same. To Have and to
Hold the said premises unto the said Charlotte E. Mays her heirs
and assigns to their only proper use forever. In Witness Whereof the
said Stephen P. Bevill as Commission as aforesaid has hereunto set his
hand and seal this the 4th day of April AD 1881

"Deed"
State of Florida } This Indenture made & entered into this twenty third
County of Alachua} day of April Eighteen hundred and Seventy Eight
Between Israel Sherouse S.J. Kennedy R.B. Smith & A. Goodson
Trustees of said land to be hereafter described of the State and
County aforesaid of the first part and James D. Sanders of the same place
party of the second part to wit: That the said Body of Trustees I.
Sherouse S.J. Kennedy R.B. Smith and A. Goodson for and in consideration
of the sum of Sixty dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged the said James D. Sanders Hath Granted bargained
sold conveyed and released to the said James D. Sanders his Survivors
heirs executors administrators and assigns all that tract or parcel of
land lying and being in said County and known in the Land
office at Gainesville As described. The North East Quarter of Section
two (2) of township eleven Range 22 East Commencing at the South
West corner of the said Quarter Section and running North to
a lightwood post thence East to the Spring Branch Corner on a white
Bay thence South to Henry Swineys line thence West to Corner
