State of Florida  }
County of Alachua } Know all men by these presents that we Merritt
L. Wood and Adelia M. Wood of the State and County aforesaid for
and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred and Twenty (120)
dollars to us in hand paid the receipt whereof we do hereby
acknowledge have granted bargained sold and conveyed and
by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto Merritt
Charming Bristol of the State of Illinois and the City of
Chicago the following described lands to wit: all that certain
piece parcel or tact of land contained within the following boundaries
Commencing at the North East corner of lot Sixty (60) of certain lands
popularly known as the Leitner Lands and running thence South
along the Eastern boundary of said lot (60) Four chains and
Sixty seven links to the North Eastern corner of lands deeded to
Laura G. French thence westward along the northern boundary
of said lands to the western bounds of said lot (60) thence North
along said western bounds to the North west corner of said
lot (60) and continuing thence North along the western
boundary of lot Forty one (41) of said "Leitner Lands" one chain
and twenty two links from the South west corner of said lot
Forty one (41) Thence Eastward by a line parallel to the line
dividing the above described from the lands of Laura G. French
to a point on the Eastern boundary of said lot Forty one (41)
one chain and twenty two links North from the South East
of said lot (41) and thence South along the Eastern boundary
of said lot (41) to the place of beginning of a total breadth
from North to South of Five chains and Eighty nine links (5 ch
89 L) containing Fifteen (15) acres of land and water more or less
Situated lying and being in the County of Alachua and
State of Florida and located in the above described part of
those lots which are designated upon a map or plat of the
"Leitner Lands" (as popularly known) as lots Sixty (60) and forth
one said map or plat having been made and drawn by W.C.
Miller and recorded August 29th 1877 on page 645 of Deed Book
"J" of the records in the office of the Clerk of the circuit court of the
county of Alachua and State of Florida To have and to hold 
the same unto him the said Merritt Charming Bristol his heirs
executors administrators and assigns in fee simple forever
In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and
affixed our seals this 27th day of March One thousand Eight hundred
and Eighty two AD
