The Florida Land and Immigration Company to George R. Hotchkiss
No 839 "Deed"
This Indenture made and entered into on this the twenty Eighth day
of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
Eighty two between the Florida Land and Immigration Company a body
Corporate under the laws of the State of Florida party of the first part
and George R. Hotchkiss of the County of Alachua State of Florida
party of the Second part Witnesseth: That the said party of the first
part for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty Dollars lawful money
of the United States of America to it in hand paid by the said party
of the second part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has given, granted aliened bargained
sold transferred conveyed and confirmed and does by these presents give, grant
alien bargain sell transfer remise release convey and confirm unto the said
party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever all that
certain tract or parcel of Land Situate lying and being in the County
of Alachua and State of Florida and known and described on the
public maps and records of said State as the South West quarter of the
North East quarter of Section Eleven in Township Eight South of Range
Twenty one East Containing Forty acres more or less (SW1/4 of NE1/4 Sec 11 T8 S
R21 E) To Have and to Hold the above granted bargained and described
premises together with all and singular the rights and privileges
immunities easements and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any
wise appertaining unto the said party of the second part and to his
heirs and assigns as his and their absolute property in fee simple
forever. And the said Florida Land and Immigration Company for itself
and assigns and for all others claiming by through or under it does
Covenant and agree that at the time of the execution and delivery of
these presents the said Company is seized of a good and indefeasible
fee simple to the above premises and has good right to Convey the same
as it has conveyed the Same free and discharged from all incumbrances
