The Singer Manufacturing Company To Sarah A. Stringfellow
                       "Deed"
This Indenture made the twelfth day of May in the year one thousand eight
hundred and Eighty Two Between The Singer Manufacturing Company of
the State of New Jersey party of the first part and Sarah A. Stringfellow
of the County of Alachua and the State of Florida party of the second part
witnesseth that the said party of the first part in consideration of the
sum of Five hundred and forty Dollars 58/100 ($540 58/100) to it duly paid before
the delivery hereof hath sold remised and forever released and quit claimed
and by these presents doth sell remise and forever release and quit-claim
unto the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns All that
certain parcel or tract of land known and described as follows: The South
East quarter of the South East quarter of Section Seventeen and the North
half of the North East quarter and the North East quarter of the North 
West quarter of section 20 in Township Eight South of Range Eighteen
East in the district of lands subject to sale at Newnansville Florida
containing one hundred and fifty nine and forty six hundredths (159 46/100) acres
more or less being the same property conveyed unto the said party of the
first part by Deed of Daniel V. Stroble date the 6th day of November AD
1879 filed for record on the 7th day of November AD 1879 and recorded
by the Clerk of the Circuit Court of said Alachua County on the 8th
day of November AD 1879 in Deed Book L at pages 207, 208 and 209
Together with all the estate right title and interest as well in law as
in equity of the said party of the first part of in and to the said premises
And to all and singular the tenements hereditaments rights privileges
appurtenances and immunities thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining
To have and To hold the above mentioned and described premises
with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part 
her heirs and assigns forever - And the said The Singer Manufac=
turing Company for itself and its Successors doth hereby covenant
and agree to and with the said party of the second part her heirs
and assigns that it hath not while in possession of said premises
made done or authorized any Deed act or thing whereby or by means
whereof the title to the same can or may be impeached or impaired
and that to this Extent only it will Warrant and defend the title to
to the said premises unto the said party of the Second part and
unto her heirs and assigns forever. In Witness Whereof the said party
of the first part hath hereunto set its Corporate Seal and caused this
Indenture to be signed by its President at its office in the City of
New York the day and year first above written
