dollars the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained sold
conveyed and forever quit claimed and by these presents do bargain sell
convey and forever quit claim unto E.L. Snowden all of our right title
interest and claim whether at law or in equity of in and to that certain
piece parcel or tract of land described and conveyed in the foregoing
deed of conveyance from P.G. Snowden and E.C. Snowden to the said
E.L. Snowden to wit the South West quarter (1/4) of the South West quarter (1/4)
of section Fifteen (15) in Township Ten (10) South Range Twenty (20) East
containing Forty (40) acres more or less and being Situate in the State
and County aforesaid To Have and To Hold unto the said E.L. Snowden
his heirs executors administrators and assigns forever. In Witness
Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and affixed our seals

she signed the said deed with her husband for the purpose of
releasing and relinquishing all the right of dower she might have
in and to the lands in said deed described and that she did the 
same freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint
apprehension or fear of or from her said husband
