Wm J. Salmond to Thomas W. Dawkins
                   "Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that we Wm J. Salmond
Alachua County   } and Patsy A. Salmond of the aforesaid County and
State for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty dollars
to us in hand paid by Thomas W. Dawkins of the County of Alachua in
the State of Florida the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have
granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain
sell and convey unto him the said Thomas W. Dawkins all of that certain
lot piece tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the County of
Alachua in the State of Florida particularly known and described as
follows to wit: Beginning at the South West Corner of the Lot conveyed
by C.O. Bailey Administrator of James B. Bailey to Johnson Chestnut by
deed dated November 17th 1875 and recorded January 29th 1877 in Deed Book
"J" pages 211 & 212 of the public records of Alachua County Florida and
running thence North Two hundred and ten (210) feet thence East
Fifty five (55) feet thence South two hundred and ten (210) feet thence
West Fifty five (55) feet to the point of beginning. The lot herein Conveyed
having been conveyed by Johnson Chestnut & wife to the said Wm J. Salmond
by deed dated the 11th day of January AD 1882 and recorded January
19th 1882 in Deed Book "M" pages 996 & 997 of the public records of said
County containing by estimation 1/4 of an acre of land more or less
Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and appurten=
ances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining, To Have and
Hold the same unto him the said Thomas W. Dawkins and to his
heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple and absolute
and we the said Wm J. Salmond and Patsey A. Salmond do hereby
covenant and agree to and with the said Thomas W. Dawkins that we
are lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed
and that we have good and lawful right to sell and convey the same
that the same is free from all encumbrances of any kind whatsoever
and that we will and our heirs executors and administrators shall and
will forever warrant and defend the same unto him the said
Thomas W. Dawkins and to his heirs executors administrators and
assigns against the lawful claims and demands of any and all
persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the same

A. Salmond wife of Wm J. Salmond the grantor in the foregoing
conveyance who being first duly questioned and examined by me
separate and apart from her said husband says and
acknowledges before me that she did sign the said deed
