Alachua County } This Indenture made the
fifteenth day of September in the year of
Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
fifty Seven and in the Eighty first year of the
Independence of the United States of America
between Reson Boytt of Alachua County and
said State of the first part Elizabeth Boytt
wife of said Reson Boytt of the Second part
and James J. Mixson of Marion County and State
aforesaid of the third part Witnesseth that the
said Reson Boytt for and in Consideration of
the Sum of Eight hundred dollars to him in
hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery
of these presents by the said James J. Mixson the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted
bargained Sold aliened Conveyed and Confirmed
and by these presents doth grant bargain Sell alien
Convey and Confirm unto the Said James J. Mixson
his heirs and assigns forever all that Certain
parcel or tract of land Situated lying and being
in said Alachua County and more particularly
known and described as follows that is to Say
Section Number Twenty One Township Eleven Range
Eighteen being in the North East Corner of said
Section which will more fully appear by the
patent granted from U.S. to Reson Boytt dated
it is half Mile South in the North East Corner of
said Section and three fourths of a Mile on the
North West line of said Section Containing Two
hundred acres, To have and to hold the Said lands
being belonging or in any wise appertaining with
the remainder and remainders revitions and
revitions rents issues and profits thereof to the only
proper use benefit and behoof of the said James
J. Mixson his heirs executors and administrators and
assigns in fee Simple and the Said Reson Boytt
for himself his heirs executors and administrators
doth Covenant with the said James J. Mixson his
heirs executors and administrators that he is lawfully
Seized in fee of the afore granted premises that
are free from all incumbrances and that he
has good right to Sell and Convey the Same to the
Said James J. Mixson and that he and his heirs
Executors and administrators Shall and will
warrant and defend the Same and every
