part thereof to the Said James J. Mixson his heirs and
assigns forever against the lawful demands of all
persons by virtue of these presents and the said
Elizabeth Boytt for and in Consideration of the Sum
of one dollar to her in hand paid by the said
James J. Mixson the receipt whereof is hereby ac-
knowledged doth forever release and remitt to the
said James J. Mixson his heirs and assigns all her
right and title to dower in the lands hereby aliened
and Conveyed testified by her executing these presents

the Fifth day of November One thousand Eight
hundred and fifty Seven before me Rites J.
Williams a Justice of the Peace in and for
said County personally appeared Reson Boytt
and Elizabeth his wife to me personally known
to be the persons described in and who executed
the foregoing Conveyance and Severally acknowledged
that they executed the Same for the Consideration
and purpose therein mentioned and the said
Elizabeth having voluntarily appeared before
me in the absence of her husband declared that
She had of her own free will executed the said
Conveyance and had assigned and Sealed the
relinquishment of dower for the purpose
therein Contained and set forth without Compul-
sion or under influence of her husband
