Alexander Coulter to John W. Phifer
"Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these Presents that I Alexander Colter
Alachua County } and my wife Sallie M. Colter of the aforesaid County and
State for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars
to us in hand paid by John W. Phifer of the County of Alachua in the
State of Florida the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have granted
bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain Sell and
convey unto the said John W. Phifer all of that Certain lot piece tract
or parcel of land situated lying and being in the County of Alachua
in the State of Florida particularly known and described as follows to
wit: Lot thirty one fronting Sixty ft on Section line and one
hundred feet deep lot thirty two fronting Sixty feet on Section
line and one hundred feet deep lot thirty five fronting one
hundred feet on Section line and one hundred feet lot thirty
three fronting on County road Seventy four feet to lot thirty one
and on East and West line South Seventy Six ft to lot thirty two
lot thirty four fronting Eighty two feet on County road and Seventy Six
feet deep to NE Corner of lot Thirty five In Coulterville Containing
by estimation ___ acres of land more or less Together with all and
singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the same
belonging or in anywise appertaining To Have and Hold the same
unto the said John W. Phifer and to his heirs executors administra=
tors and assigns in fee Simple and absolute. And we the said
Alexander Colter and Sallie M. Colter do hereby covenant and agree
to and with the said John W. Phifer that we are lawfully seized
in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed and that we have
good and lawful right to sell and convey the same that the
same is free from all encumbrances of any kind whatsoever and that
we will and our heirs executors and administrators shall and will
forever warrant and defend the same unto the said John W. Phifer
and to his heirs executors administrators and assigns against the
lawful claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever
now claiming or hereafter to claim the same. In Witness Whereof we have
hereunto set our hand and affixed our seal on this 18 day of April
AD 1882
