State of Florida } This Indenture made and entered into this thirty first
Alachua County   } day of October in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred
and Sixty Eight John R. Bevill of the County and State aforesaid of the
first part and Arthur Miles of the above named County and State
of the second part, Witnesseth that the said John R. Bevill for and in
consideration of the sum of Five hundred and Eighty five Dollars to him
in hand paid by the said Arthur Miles the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged does by these presents give grant bargain
sell and convey unto the said Arthur Miles his heirs and
assigns a certain piece or parcel of land lying and being in said
State and County and known and designated as follows South 1/2 of Lot
No 2 & SE1/4 SW1/4 of Section 27 & N1/2 of Lot No 1 & NE1/4 of NW1/4 of Section
thirty four in Township No 9 S of Range No 18 E containing one hundred
and sixteen 79/100 Acres more or less. Together with all the 
privileges and appurtenances thereunto belong or in anywise
appertaining to have and to hold the above granted premises
to the said Arthur Miles his heirs and assigns in fee simple
And the said Jno R. Bevill will and his heirs Executors and
administrators forever warrant and defend against the lawful
demands of all persons whatsoever.
