purpose of renouncing and relinquishing her right to dower in the premises
herein after conveyed) parties of the first part and Lalla Henderson party of the
second part witnesses that the parties of the first part for and in consideration
of the sum of five dollars to them paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged
and also in consideration of the conveyance of certain lands by the party of 
the second part to the said W.W. Scott have granted bargained and sold and
by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey to the party of that certain
tract or parcel of land situate in the County of Alachua in the State of Florida
and known and described as the North half (N1/2) of Section Sixteen (16) in
Township Seven (7) Range eighteen (18) East containing three hundred and twenty
(320) acres more or less: To Have and To Hold to the party of the second part her
heirs and assign with all the rights titles and privileges thereto appertaining
or in anywise belonging In Witness Whereof the said parties of the first part
have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals the day and year before
mentioned

they had executed the foregoing deed to Lalla Henderson for the purposes
therein mentioned and I further certify that the said Mrs M.E. Scott
having been by me first examined privately and separately & apart from her
said husband acknowledged to me that she had renounced and relinquished
all her right and title to dower in the lands conveyed by said deed and
and that she did the same freely and voluntarily and without any
compulsion fear or apprehension of or from her said husband

          "Quit Claim Deed"
State of Florida } Whereas I William Edwards of the aforesaid County and
Alachua County   } State did on the Twenty-ninth day of September AD 1880
recover and have rendered in my favor a Judgment and decree of foreclosure
of mortgage in the Circuit Court of Alachua County in the Fifth Judicial
Circuit of Florida In Chancery for the sum of Two thousand one hundred
and one 10/100 Dollars against Martha P. Perry of said State and County
said decree being dated September 29th AD 1880 and being recorded and
entered of record on the 30th day of September AD 1880 at pages Two
