Martha P. Perry To Thomas E. Taylor
"Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that I Martha P. Perry a femme Sole
Alachua County } of the aforesaid County and State for and in consideration of the
sum of Six thousand five hundred dollars to me in hand paid by Thomas E.
Taylor of the County of Uvalde in the State of Texas the receipt whereof I do hereby
acknowledge have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents
do grant bargain sell and convey unto him the said Thomas E. Taylor
all of that certain lot piece tract or parcel of land situated lying and being
in the county of Alachua in the State of Florida particularly known
and described as follows to wit: The West half of Section No Twenty four
(24) and the North half of the North East quarter of the said Section
No Twenty four (24) the same being in Township Ten (10) South of
Range Twenty one (21) East containing Four hundred acres of land more
or less containing by estimation 400 acres of land more or less
Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and
appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining
To Have and Hold the same unto him the said Thomas E. Taylor and
to his heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple and
absolute and I the said Martha P. Perry do hereby covenant and
agree to and with the said Thomas E. Taylor that I am lawfully
seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed and that I
have good and lawful right to sell and convey the same that the
same is free from all encumbrances of any kind whatsoever and that
I will and my heirs executors and administrators shall and will
forever warrant and defend the same unto him the said Thomas
E. Taylor and to his heirs executors administrators and assigns
against the lawful claims and demands of any and all persons
whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the same. In
witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal
on this 31st day of January AD 1882
