William D. Evins To The Florida Southern Railway Company
"Deed"
State of South Carolina } Know all men by these presents That we William
County of Anderson } D. Evins and his wife Mary W. Evins who Joins
her said husband in this Deed for the purpose of releasing relinquishing
and renouncing all of her right and claim to Dower in and to the lands herein
and hereby conveyed for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar to us
in hand paid by The Florida Southern Railway Company a Corporation
of the State of Florida the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and
the further consideration that the said corporation of said Florida
Southern Railway Company will permanently establish operate use
and keep its Railway and Railway Depot with the usual and
customary Depot facilities where the same is now located at through
on and near the lands hereinafter described Have granted bargained
sold released and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain
sell and convey unto the said Corporation the said Florida Southern
Railway Company all of those certain Lots Blocks pieces or parcels
of land lying being and Situated in the County of Alachua
in the State of Florida and particularly described according to the
map or Platt of the Town of "Evinston" of record in the Public Records
of said Alachua County State of Florida as follows to wit:
Blocks Five (5) Six (6) Seven (7) Eight (8) Ten (10) Eleven (11) Thirteen
(13) Fifteen (15) and Sixteen (16) said Town or Town site of "Evinston"
being located and Situated as follows Commencing at the South
East corner to Section Thirty two (32) Township Eleven (11) Range
Twenty one (21) running thence West along boundary line of said
section Sixteen Hundred and fifty feet (1650) Thence North Thirteen
Hundred and Twenty (1320 feet Thence East Sixteen Hundred and fifty
(1650) feet. Thence South along the East boundary line of said Section
to the beginning corner said Town site containing Fifty Acres (50)
Together also with the right of way for the Railway of the said Florida
Southern Railway Company and its successors and the free use and
enjoyment of the parallelograms or Strips of land lying along the road
bed in and through said Town of "Evinston" as the same is now located
and designated on said map or Platt of said Town of "Evinston" said
