part all of the State and County aforesaid, Witnesseth
that the party of the first part, for and in consideration
and sixteen Dollars
of the sum of One Hundred Dollars,^ lawful money of
the United States, to me duly paid before the delivery there-
-of, hath bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant
and convey to the said parties of the second part his
heirs and assigns forever, all that certain piece or tract
of land being and lying in the County of Alachua and State
of Florida which is known and described as follows to wit:
The NW1/4 of NE1/4 of SW1/4 of NE1/4 of Section 17 and NE1/4 of NW1/4 and
SE1/4 of NW1/4 of Sec 17, all being and lying in Township 9 Range
16 Together with all and singular the tenements, heredita-
-ments, and appurtenances belonging thereunto and the parties
of the first part doth hereby covenant and agree with
the parties of the second part that the parties of the second
part are henceforth the lawful owners of the premises
above granted bargained and sold to the said party of
the second part and we the parties of the first part
doth forever warrant and defend the above granted prem
-ises as the quiet and peaceable possession of the said
party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever
in witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and
seals this the 18th day of

Polk aforesaid who being examined by me separate and
apart from her said Husband acknowledged before
me that she renounced and relinquished all her Dower
and right of Dower in and to the lands described
in the foregoing Deed of Conveyance and that she
did the same freely and voluntarily and without any
constraint apprehension or fear for or from her Hus-
-band in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal this the eighteenth day of November AD 1881
