      Mary F. and Sidney Cheves To M.A. Mitchell
                         "Deed"
 This Indenture made the 5th day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and eighty two Between Mary F. Cheves of the first part, and 
M.A. Michel of the second part. Witnesseth That the said party of the first
part for and in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred Dollars lawful money
of the United States of America to her in hand paid by the said party of the
second part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has granted bargained sold aliened
remised released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain
sell alien convey and confirm unto the said party of the second
part and his heirs and assigns forever all of that piece or parcel of Land
situated in the County of Alachua known and described as follows (to wit) being
that piece or portion of Land lying and being South of the present Santiffe
Canal and which is a part of the North West Quarter of the South West Quarter
of Section Twenty nine in Township eight Range Twenty Two east it is
also known as lot No (6) Six the land hereby intended to be conveyed
being all of that portion of land of above described NW1/4 of SW1/4 of Section
Twenty nine (29) Township eight Range Twenty two east also known as lot
No 6 being South of the Santifee canal as at present constructed. Together
with all and singular the lands tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversion and reversions
remainder and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof and also the
estate right title interest property possession claim and demand whatsoever
as well in law as in equity of the said party of the first part of in and to
the same and every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances:
