P.M. Oliver and Wife to George H. Rich and Mrs Louisa M. Smith
"Deed"
State of Florida } This Indenture made and entered into this 31st day
Alachua County } of January AD 1880 between P.M. Oliver and his wife
Martha L. Oliver who joins in this deed for the purpose or renouncing releasing
and extinguishing all her dower or right of Dower in and to the property
herein conveyed of the first part and George H. Rich and Mrs Louisa
M. Smith (Wife of B.M. Smith) of the second part all of the State and
County aforesaid, Witnesseth That the said parties of the first part for
and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred and Sixty Six
Dollars and Sixty Six cents to them in hand paid the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold and
conveyed and and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey
unto the said parties of the second part all that certain lot
tract piece or parcel of land lying and being situate in the
State and County aforesaid and in the South East quarter of the
North West Quarter of Section Twenty Two (22) in Township Ten (10)
South Range Twenty 20 East and particularly designated and
described as follows to wit: Beginning on the line dividing the
North half of the North West quarter from the South half of the
North West Quarter of said Section Twenty Two (22) and at
a point which is located Twenty Eight (28) chains East of the
Western Boundary line of said section Twenty two (22) and
running thence South Six Hundred and Ninety four and three four
=ths (694 3/4) feet Thence East Three hundred and Thirteen and a half
(313 1/2) feet Thence North Six Hundred and Ninety four and three
fourths (694 3/4) feet, Thence West Three Hundred and Thirteen and a
half (313 1/2) feet to the point of beginning containing Five (5) acres more
or less Together with all the rights privileges and appurtenances thereunto
belonging or in anywise appertaining. To Have and To Hold unto the
said parties of the second part and to their heirs and assigns forever
in fee simple absolute and the said parties of the first part
do hereby covenant and agree with the said parties of the
second part that they are seized of and have good right and
sufficient title to convey the said premises and that the same are
entirely unencumbered and they do by these presents warrant and
agree to forever defend the title of the said property in and to the said
parties of the second part their heirs and assigns against all and every
person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same
