=taining To Have and To Hold the same unto him the said
John L. Brown and his his heirs Executors administrators
and assigns in fee simple absolute forever and we
the said Ceciro S. Simmons and Martha M. Simmons
his wife do hereby covenant and agree to and with the
said John L. Brown that we are lawfully seized
in fee of the premises hereby conveyed that the same
are free and clear of all encumbrances of all kind
whatsoever and that we will and our and each of our
heirs executors and administrators shall and will forever
protect and defend him the said John L. Brown and his
heirs Executors and administrators and assigns against the
lawful claims and demands of any and all persons
whomsoever: In Witness Whereof we have hereunto
set our hands and affixed our seals on this 3rd day
of January AD 1882

Ceciro A. Simmons who being first duly questioned
and Examined by me separate and apart from her said
husband says and acknowledges before me that she did
sign seal execute and deliver the foregoing deed of
conveyance for the purpose of releasing and renouncing
all of her right of Dower in and to the land described
and set forth in the said deed of Conveyance and that
she did the same freely and volunterily and without any compulsion
constraint apprehension or fear of or from her said
husband
