paid unto the said Jno C. Doolittle the full amount
of said note together with the interest according to
its tenor and effect then this instrument to be void else
to remain in full force and virtue. And it is hereby
further agreed that should it become necessary to  en-
force this instrument by legal proceedings the said
Herbert M. Godfrey will pay therefor all attorneys
fees charges and expenses

William Salman To S.C. Sadler

This Indenture made and entered into on this 13th
day of February AD 1882, Witnesseth that William
Salman in consideration of the sum of Seven
dollars already advanced by and now due to S.C. Sad-
ler by him the said William Sadler the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged and for the further consid-
eration that the said S.C. Sadler shall and will
make such further reasonable amount of ad-
vances in provisions merchandise and plantation
supplies as may be necessary to enable the said
William Salman to make, harvest and prepare
for market his crops of all kinds during the
year AD 1882 Such further advances not to exceed
Sixty Three dollars and for the further consid-
eration of one dollar in hand paid by these pres-
ents doth grant bargain Sell and Convey unto
the said S.C. Sadler and to his heirs and assigns
all the right title interest and claim of him
the said S.C. Sadler heirs executors and admin
istrators of in and to all the Crops of whatsoever
