Dick Griffin To S.C. Sadler

Alachua County } This Indenture made and entered into on this
29th day of April AD 1882 Witnesseth that Dick Griffin in consid-
eration of the Sum of Twenty dollars already advanced by and
now due to S.C. Sadler by him the Said Dick Griffin
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and for the
further consideration that the said S.C. Sadler Shall and
will make Such further reasonable amount of advances in
provisions merchandise and plantation Supplies as may be
necessary to enable the said Dick Griffin to make har-
vest and prepare for market his Crops of all Kinds during
the year AD 1882; Such further advances not to exceed Seventy
dollars and for the further Consideration of one dollar in
hand paid by these presents doth grant bargain Sell and
Convey unto the said S.C. Sadler and to his heirs and assigns
all the right title interest and claim of him the said Dick
Griffin his heirs executors and administrators of in and to
all the crops of whatsoever species kind or description
now growing or which may hereafter at any time in the
future be planted grown or gathered by me or for me or for
my benefit in or off of any and all lands in Alachua
County Florida until the debt hereby Secured with in-
terest is fully paid; also the following described
property to wit: One bay Stallion about 8 years old -
To have and to hold all and Singular the Crops lands
and personal property above bargained and Sold unto
the said S.C. Sadler his heirs executors administrators
and assigns forever. Provided Nevertheless that if the
said Dick Griffin Should well and truly pay or cause
to be paid unto the said S.C. Sadler the full amount
of the advances heretofore made and hereafter to be
made with the Charges for Commissions and interest on
the Same then this obligation to be void else to rem-
ain in full force and virtue. And it is further agreed
that all amounts heretofore and hereafter advanced
are due and payable upon delivery of the goods
therefor and shall bear interest accordingly and
that this instrument may be enforced at any time
at the option of the said S.C. Sadler. And it is hereby
further agreed that should it become necessary to
enforce this instrument by legal proceedings the
said Dick Griffin will pay therefor all attorneys fees
Charges and expenses.
