such further reasonable amount of advances in provisions
merchandise and plantation supplies as may be necessary 
to enable the said Eleven Elliott to make harvest and pre
pare for market his crops of all Kinds during the year 
AD 1882; Such further advances not to exceed Seventy five
dollars and for the further consideration of one dollar 
in hand paid by these presents doth grant bargain 
sell and convey unto the said S.C. Sadler and to his 
heirs and assigns all the right title interest and Claim 
of Eleven Elliott the said heirs executors and administrators 
of in and to all the crops of whatsoever species Kind or des-
cription now growing or which may hereafter at any time 
in the future be planted grown or gathered by me or for
my benefit in or off of any and all lands in Al-
achua County Florida until the debt hereby secured
with interest is fully paid; also the following des-
cribed property to wit: One Gray mule name "Jack"
about ten years old. To have and to hold all and 
Singular the crops lands and personal property 
above bargained and sold, unto the said S.C. Sadler 
his heirs executors administrators and assigns forever 
Provided nevertheless that if the said Eleven Elliott 
should well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto 
the said S.C. Sadler the full amount of the advances 
heretofore made and hereafter to be made with the 
Charges for Commissions and interest on the Same 
then this obligation to be void, else to remain in full 
force and virtue. And it is further agreed that all 
amounts heretofore and hereafter advanced are due 
and payable upon delivery of the goods therefor and 
shall bear interest accordingly and that this in-
strument may be enforced at any time at the op-
tion of the said S.C. Sadler. And it is hereby further 
agreed that should it become necessary to enforce
this instrument by legal proceedings the said 
Eleven Elliott will pay therefor all attorneys fees 
Charges and expenses. In Witness Whereof I have 
hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 
Eleventh day of February AD 1882.
