of better Securing to them the Said Taylor & Sanchez the
payment for a certain promisory note for the Sum
of One hundred dollars dated 24th day of April AD 1882,
and made payable on the 1st day of November AD 1882
and signed by myself & James Clemons I have this day
granted bargained and sold and by these presents do
grant bargain Sell and Convey unto the said Taylor
& Sanchez and to their heirs and assigns the following
described property to wit: One Sorrell Poney Horse with
a blaze in the face about Eight years
To have and to hold the said described property unto the
said Taylor & Sanchez and to their heirs executors administra-
tors and assigns forever.
Provided nevertheless that if I Shall well and truly pay
or cause to be paid to the said Taylor & Sanchez the
within described promisory note at its maturity accor-
ding to the tenor and effect then this obligation to be
void else to remain in full force and virtue. And it is
hereby further agreed that should it become necessary
to enforce this instrument by legal proceedings I the
said S.P. Morgan will pay therefor all reasonable
attorneys fees and Charges.
