empower the said party of the second part her
executors administrators or assigns to sell the said
hereby granted premises at public Auction and
Convey the same to the purchaser in fee simple
agreeably to the act in such case made and provided
and out of the moneys arising from such sale to retain
the principal and interest which shall then be due
on the said promissory note together with all the
Costs and Charges and pay the over plus (if any) to
the said William M. Knox and Mattie F. his wife
parties of the first part their heirs executors admin-

Whereas J.S. Hinnant of the above State and County
is indebted to W. Lassiter of the State of Georgia in the
Sum of One hundred dollars which said Sum is Cov-
enanted to be paid by a certain promissory note
bearing date of Apl 12/82 and for the said Sum
of One hundred dollars bearing interest at the
rate of 12%. Now therefore to better Secure the pay-
ment of said note and interest as expressed therein
