Alachua County   } Whereas Charles B. Pelton of
the town of Fairbanks in said County and State is
justly indebted to James K. Shaw of the Same town
County and State in the Sum of Eight hundred and
fifty Eight Dollars which said Sum of money
is covenanted to be paid by Seventeen Certain prom-
issory notes bearing date April 1st 1882 Sixteen of
which is for the sum of fifty dollars each one
payable one month after date and the balance
of the fifty dollar notes fifteen in number pay-
able respectively one each month until they are paid
and one for fifty Eight Dolls payable in Seventeen
months of the date all with interest at Eight pr Ct
pr annum after date all executed by Charles B.
Pelton in favor of James K. Shaw. And whereas be-
ing desirous of fully and better Securing the pay-
ment of said notes and the Sum of money mentioned
therein. Therefore know all men by these presents that
we Jennie E. Pelton and Charles B. Pelton both persons
being unmarried and both residents of Fairbanks
Alachua County and State of Florida for and in
Consideration of the premises and of the Sum of
one dollar to them paid have bargained and Sold
and by these presents do grant bargain Sell and Convey
unto the Said James K. Shaw of the Same place his
heirs and assigns all the following described piece
parcel or tract of land to wit. Thirty (30) acres off the
West side of the North West Quarter of the South
West Quarter of section Seven (7) Township Nine (9)
South Range Twenty one (21) East the property of
Miss Jennie E. Pelton also a Certain parcel of land
the property of Charles B. Pelton to wit: known as sub-
division lots numbered Thirty one (31) and Thirty Two
(32) of subdivision lot Twenty one (21) all in the
town of Fairbanks Alachua County and State of
Florida the lots shown on the plat of said town
as laid out by C.D. Furman. Together with all and
singular the tenements hereditaments and appurten-
ances thereunto belonging. To have and to hold the
same unto the said James K. Shaw in fee Simple
absolute forever. Provided however and these
presents are upon this express Consideration that
if the said Jennie E. Pelton and Charles B. Pelton
their heirs or assigns shall well and truly pay or
cause to be paid the Sum of money covenanted to be paid by said
