Be it remembered that on this
7th day of July AD 1882 before me Chas Edgar Miller
a Commissioner of the state of Florida in and for the
State of New York residing in said City and State
personally appeared Edward J. Read President and
C.D. Willard Secretary of "The Florida Transit and
Peninsular Railroad Company" to me respectively
personally known to be such who being by me
duly Sworn did depose and say that he said Edward
J. Read was such President and resident in London
England and he said C.D. Willard was such secre-
tary and resided in Washington D.C., that they
know the Corporate seal of said Company that the
seal affixed to the foregoing instrument is such Cor-
porate seal and was affixed thereto pursuant to
authority from the Board of Directors of said Company
and that they signed their names thereto by the like
order as such President and Secretary and they
each respectively thereupon acknowledged to me
that they had signed Sealed and executed the fore-
going instrument to be their free and voluntary
act and deed and to be the free and voluntary act
and deed of said Company for the uses and pur-
poses therein mentioned.
Also on this 7th day of July AD 1882 before me a
Commissioner of the State of Florida as aforesaid
personally appeared Edward King the President
of the "Union Trust Company of New York" to me
personally known to be such who being by me
duly Sworn did depose and say that he resided
in Richmond County Staten Island that he was such
President that he knows the Corporate seal of said
Company that the seal affixed to the foregoing
instrument is such Corporate seal and was affixed
thereto pursuant to authority from the Board of
Directors of said Company and that he signed
his name thereto by the like order as such Presi-
dent And he thereupon acknowledged to me
