Alachua County   } Whereas Thomas B. Smith of Waldo
Alachua County Florida is justly indebted to Amy
L. Place of Waldo Alachua Co Florida in the
Sum of Two hundred 00/100 dollars which said sum
of money is Covenanted to be paid by one Certain
promissory note bearing an even date herewith
for the sum of Two hundred Dollars signed
jointly by Thomas B. Smith and M. Entenza and
due and payable at Waldo Florida on the fourth
day of January AD 1883. And whereas I am desirous
of fully and better securing the payment of said
note and the sum of money mentioned therein
Therefore know all men by these presents that I
Thomas B. Smith of Waldo Alachua County Flori-
da for and in Consideration of the premises and
of the sum of one dollar to him in hand paid
have granted bargained and sold and by these
presents do grant bargain sell and Convey
unto the said Amy L. Place her heirs and assigns
all the following described piece parcel or tract of
