Alachua County } Whereas William B. Lipsey
Hannah H. Lipsey Husband and wife of Archer
Alachua Co Florida justly indebted to Amy L. Place
in the Sum of Five hundred dollars which said sum
of money is Covenanted to be paid by one Certain prom-
issory note bearing an even date herewith for the
Sum of Five hundred dollars due and payable
on the 15th day of June AD 1884 with interest at the
rate of ten per Cent per annum payable on the
15th day of December and the 15th day of June
in each year semiannually until paid
And whereas we are desirous of fully and better
securing the payment of said note and the Sum
of money mentioned therein. Therefore know all men
by these presents that William B. Lipsey and Hannah
H. Lipsey of Archer Alachua Co Florida for and in
consideration of the premises and of one dollar
to them in hand paid have granted bargained
and sold and by these presents do grant bargain
sell and convey unto the said Amy L. Place her
heirs and assigns all the following described
piece parcel or tract of land to wit:
The West half of the North East Quarter of the
North West Quarter of Section Twenty (21) one
Township Eleven (11) South of Range (18) Eighteen
East. (W1/2 of NE1/4 of NW1/4 Sec 21 T11 S R18 E)
Together with all and singular the tenements hered-
itaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging
To have and to hold the Same unto the said Amy
L. Place in fee simple absolute forever Provided
however and these presents are upon this express
Condition that if the said William B. Lipsey and
Hannah H. Lipsey or their heirs or assigns shall
well and truly pay or cause to be paid the Sum of
money Covenanted to be paid by said note together
with the interest to accrue thereon according to the
legal tenor thereof then this obligation shall become
null and void else to remain in full force
and virtue. And it is hereby further agreed and
stipulated that the said William P. Lipsey and Han-
nah H. Lipsey will pay all expenses Costs and
attorneys fees which the said Amy L. Place or
her heirs or assigns may be put to in enforcing
the Collection of the aforesaid sum of money
Covenanted to be paid by said note by foreclosure

For and in Consideration of the full payment of money secured to be paid
by this Mortgage I hereby cancel and discharge the Same from record this April 4th 1892
