            John B. Dell and Wife to George W. Sparkman
                            "Mortgage"
State of Florida } Whereas we John B. Dell and his wife
Alachua County   } Laura L. Dell of the aforesaid County and
State are indebted unto George W. Sparkman of said State
and County by our two certain promissory notes bearing even
dates with these presents the first of said notes being for the
sum of one thousand ($100000) Dollars and payable in Ninety (90)
days after the date thereof at the rate of ten (10) per cent pr
annum and the second one of said notes being for the sum
of one thousand ($1000) Dollars and payable on the day of
January AD 1883 after the date whereof with interest from the
date thereof at the rate of Ten (10) per cent per annum both
of said Promissory notes being given by us for the purchase
money of the property hereinafter described - and whereas we are
desirous of fully and effectually securing the payment of said
promissory notes according to their legal tenor and effect at
the times and dates when they and each of them falls due besides
all interest thereon to accrue = Therefore know all men by these
presents that we the said John B. Dell and his wife
Laura L. Dell for and in consideration of the premises and of
the said sums of money so due by us as aforesaid by our said
two promissory notes aforesaid have granted bargained sold
conveyed and mortgaged: and by these presents do grant bargain
sell convey and Mortgage unto him the said George W. Sparkman
the following described lot tract piece or parcel of land situated
lying and being in the "Arredondo Grant" in Alachua County

and discharge of this Mortgage and the notes secured thereby
