State of Florida }
Alachua County } Whereas we Mary B. Waples and E.C. Waples her
husband are Justly indebted to G.D. Younglove and E.G. Younglove
partners trading under the firm name of G.D. Younglove & Son in the
sum of three hundred and Fifteen dollars which said sum of money
is covenanted to be paid by one certain promissory note bearing even
date herewith for the sum of Three hundred and Fifteen dollars due
an payable on the first day of January AD 1888. And Whereas we are
desirous of fully and better securing the payment of said note and the
sum of money mentioned therein therefore know all men by these
presents that we Mary B. Waples and E.C. Waples her Husband
for and in consideration of the premises and of the sum of one Dollar
to us in hand paid have granted bargained and sold and by
these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said
G.D. Younglove & Son their heirs and assigns all the following described
piece parcel or tract of land to wit: The South half of the following
lot or parcel of land commencing at the North East corner of Section
Fifteen (15) Township Ten Range Nineteen S & E and running
Nineteen chains and seventy five links to a Stake thence south along
the reserved road fifty Six chains and twenty five links to a Stake
the point of beginning = Thence South Nineteen chains and
Sixty links to a Stake on the boundary line of Orange City Thence
South Sixty degrees West one chain and two links to a Stake
thence West Nine Chains and forty five links to a Stake at
the South East corner of Chas P. Perrys lot thence North Twenty
chains to Stake on Morris Deporters South line and thence
East ten chains to the point of beginning and containing
Twenty acres more or less. Together with all and singular the
tenements hereditaments and appurtenances there unto belonging To
have and to hold the same unto the said G.D. Younglove & Son
in fee simple absolute forever Provided however and these presents
are upon this express condition that if the said Mary B. Waples and
E.C. Waples her husband their heirs or assigns shall well and truly
pay or cause to be paid the sum of money covenanted to be paid
by said note together with the interest to accrue thereon
according to the legal tenor thereof then this obligation shall
become null and void else to remain in full force and virtue
and it is hereby further agreed and Stipulated that the said
Mary B. Waples and E.C. Waples will pay all expenses costs and
attorney's fees which the said G.D. Younglove and son may be
put to in enforcing the collection of the aforesaid sum of money
covenanted to be paid by said note by foreclosure or otherwise
In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and affixed
our Seals on this 19th day of Sept AD 1882

For and in Consideration of the Sum of Three hundred and Twenty Six dollars and
34/100 we hereby acknowledge full and Complete payment of this Mortgage and hereby
cancel and discharge the same from record the first day of March AD 1883
