Together with the interest according to its tenor and effect then this
Instrument to be void else to remain in full force and virtue and it is
hereby further agreed that should it become Necessary to enforce this
instrument by legal proceedings the said Charlotte E.F. Dumas will
pay therefor: All attorneys fees and charges and expenses In Witness
Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed My seal this 26th day

            "Bill of Sale"
State of Florida }
Alachua County   } This Indenture made and Entered into this the third
                 day of February AD 1882 Between E.L. Long
of Alachua County and State of Florida party of the first part
and John Grimes Agent party of the second part Witnesseth
that the party of the first part for and in Consideration of the
sum of $20 to him in hand paid by the party of the second
part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath this day
bargained sold and delivered to the party of the second part
one Iron Gray horse Named Reuben - three Years old to have
and to hold the said described property unto the said party of the
second part in fee simple forever: The Condition of this obligation
is to be Considered a Bill of sale for the purpose of securing
the said party of the second part in the sum of Twenty Dollars
this day advanced to the said party of the first part to be paid
on the 10th day of October AD 1882 Now if the said amount
shall be paid on the 10th day of October AD 1882 then this obligation
to be void else to remain in full force and virtue and the said
described property to be the property of the said party of the second
part John Grimes agent by virtue of the within Bill of Sale and
forfeiture of the payment Mentioned In Witness whereof I E.L. Long
have hereunto affixed My hand and seal this the 3rd day of February AD 1882
