      Andrew Knight & Co to Fred P. Cole and Albert A. Thomas
                        "Mortgage"
This Indenture made and entered into this 14th day of March 1882
between Andrew Knight and Company of Waldo Alachua County
Fla of the 1st part and Fred P. Cole and Albert A. Thomas of the
second part  Witnesseth That the said party of the first part for
and in consideration of the sum of one dollar the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged and the further considerations of the obligations
this day taken upon themselves by said party of the second part
in the interest of said party of the first part the conditions of
which are here after enumerated Have granted bargained and sold and
by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey & confirm unto
said party of the second part their heirs and assigns forever all of the
following described goods chattels to wit: One Saw Mill at the head
of the Santafe Canal in Waldo in said Alachua County Florida
comprising the boiler Engines Saws belts pullies and all the Machens &
apperatus thereunto attached or belonging all of said property hereby
sold is subject to the following conditions viz: That is to say If said
A. Knight & Co Shall save and keep harmless the said Fred P. Cole and
the said A.A. Thomas from paying the penalty attached to the
forfeiture of a certain bond in case a forfeiture is granted and
otherwise save and Keep harmless the said Fred P. Cole & A.A. Thomas
