Alachua County   } This Indenture made and entered
into on this 3d day of March AD 1881 Witnesseth that I
George Smith in Consideration of the Sum of Seven 18/100
dollars already advanced by and now due to G.K. Broome
by him the said George Smith the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged and for the further Consideration that
the said G.K. Broome shall and will make such further
reasonable amount of advances in provisions merchan-
dise and plantation Supplies as may be necessary to
enable the said George Smith to make harvest and
prepare for market his crops of all kinds during the
year AD 1881. Such further advances not to exceed Twenty
five dollars and for the further Consideration of one
dollar to me in hand paid by these presents doth grant
bargain sell and Convey unto the said G.K. Broome
and to his heirs and assigns all the right title interest
and claim of him the said George Smith heir executors
and administrators of in and to all the Crops of whatsoever
species kind or description mow growing or which may
hereafter at any time in the future be planted grown or
gathered by me or for me or for my benefit on or off
of any and all lands in Alachua County Florida until
the debt hereby secured with interest is fully paid Also the
following described property to wit: One (1) Bay horse 4 years
old called Story raised by me. One (1) Cart Four head
of Cattle & all Income from Same Smooth Crop in left &
Smooth Crop and Bullet hole in right ear.
To have and to hold all and singular the Crops lands
and personal property above bargained and sold unto
the said G.K. Broome his heirs executors administrators
and assigns forever. Provided nevertheless that if the said
George Smith shall well and truly pay or cause to be 
paid unto the said G.K. Broome the full amount of
the advances heretofore made and hereafter to be made
with the charges for Commissions and interest on the Same
then this obligation to be void else to remain in full
force and virtue. And it is hereby further agreed that al
amounts heretofore and hereafter advanced are due and
payable upon delivery of the goods therefor and shall
bear interest accordingly and that this instrument
may be enforced at any time at the option of the
said G.K. Broome and it is hereby further agreed
that should it become to enforce this instrument
by legal proceedings the said George Smith will pay
therefor all reasonable attorneys fees and Charges
