Alachua County   } On this day personally appeared
before me Isabella H. & Thomas H. Fletcher to me well
known as the persons described in and who executed
the foregoing Mortgage Deed and acknowledged that
they executed the Same for the purpose therein ex-
pressed. Whereupon it is prayed that the Same may
be recorded. In Witness Whereof I have hereunto
affixed my hand and seal this Seventh day of
October AD one thousand eight hundred and

George W. Moody To T.A. Darby & Co
              "Mortgage"
This Indenture made the 14th day of March 1882 by and
between George W. Moody of the County of Levy and State of
Florida of the first part and Thomas A. Darby Charles B. Rogers
and E.A. Champlain parties using the firm name and style
of T.A. Darby & Co of the second part. Witnesseth that the said
partys of the first part for and in Consideration of the Sum
of one Dollar to him in hand paid by the said party of
the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
has bargained sold and conveyed to the said parties of
the second part^Twelve hundred pine logs now in Sewannee
River^Five log carts harness and rigging belonging thereto
one Road Wagon twenty mules one Bay mare one Buggy one
black Smiths Shop with tools thereto belonging and all Camp Equip-
age^ and all the interest I have in lot of logs now in Santa
fee River known as J.W. Chiles logs,^ All which property
^Except logs^ is now in the Camp of the said party of the
first part on the Suwannee River in the County of
Suwannee. To have and to hold the said before men-
tioned property to them the said parties of the second
part their heirs and assigns forever.
Provided nevertheless and these presents are upon this
Express condition. Whereas the said parties of the Second
part have accepted the drafts of J.R. Mitchell & Co
as follows one for fifteen hundred and Sixty three
Dollars due sixty days after date and dated the 14th
day of March 1882. One due Ninety day after date for
fifteen hundred and Sixty three Dollars. One due
