Alachua County   } On this day personally appeared
before me Lemuel L. Knight to me well known as the
person described in and who executed the fore-
going Mortgage and acknowledged that he executed
the Same for the purpose therein expressed and his wife
Malinda F. Knight also appearing before me at the
Same time and being examined by me Seperate and
apart from her husband acknowledged that she signed
the within without any compulsion or fear from
her husband and that she does hereby relinquish
her dower and waive the benefit of the homestead
Laws of the State of Florida to the within Mortgaged
property. In witness whereof I have hereunto af-
fixed my hand and seal this the 25th day of

Alachua Co       } Whereas I Andrew T. Capen of
Gainesville in the aforesaid State and County am in-
debted to J.H. Post of the aforesaid Town State and County
in the Sum of Five hundred Dollars and for which Sum
of money I have made and delivered unto the said
J.H. Post my Promissory notes bearing even date with these
presents payable one and two years after the date thereof
and bearing interest from date at the rate of ten per Cent
per annum and whereas I am desirous of well and
fully Securing the payment of said promissory note
with all interest to accrue thereon according to the tenor
and effect. Now Therefore know all men by these pres-
ents that I the said Andrew T. Capen for and in Con-
sideration of the premises and of the said Sum of
Five Hundred Dollars so owing by me to the Said
J.H. Post by my said promissory note have granted
bargained sold Conveyed and Mortgaged and by
these presents do grant bargain sell and Convey and
Mortgage unto him the said J.H. Post all of that Cer-

and hereby declare the same to be forever
