 Peter M. Oliver To J.H. Post

Alachua County   } Whereas I Peter M. Oliver of Gainesville
in the aforesaid State and County am indebted to J.-
H. Post of the aforesaid State and County in the Sum
of two hundred dollars and for which said sum of
money I have made delivered to the said J.H. Post
my promissory note bearing even date with these pres-

ents payable one year after^date thereof and bearing in-
terest at the rate of Ten per Cent per annum. And
whereas I am desirous of well and fully Securing
the payment of said promissory note with all interest
to accrue thereon according to the tenor and effect.
Now Therefore know all men by these presents that I the
said Peter M. Oliver for and in Consideration of of the
premises and of the said Sum of Two hundred
dollars so owing by me to the said J.H. Post by my
said promissory note have granted bargained sold
Conveyed and mortgaged and by these presents do grant
bargain sell and convey and mortgage unto him the
said J.P. Post all of that Certain piece or parcel of
land situated lying and being in section Seven
(7) Township Ten (10) Range Twenty (20) and beginning
at a point where the line between Section 7 and 8 in
Township Ten (10) Range Twenty (20) East crosses the
Transit RR thence North along said Section line
Five (5) Chains and Ninety Six (96) links thence West Six
(6) Chains and fifty (50) links thence South Eleven (11)
Chains and Seventy five (75) links to the line of the
Transit RR thence in a North Easterly direction along
the line of said RR to the point of beginning^ being
5 five Acres with all the appurtenances to the Same
belonging or in anywise appertaining.
To have and to hold the Same unto him the Said
J.H. Post and his heirs and assigns forever provided
always nevertheless and this instrument is executed
