from her said husband says and acknowledges before
me that she did sign the said Conveyance for the purpose
of releasing relinquishing and renouncing all of her right
of Dower in and to the land in said Conveyance described and
that said relinquishment and renunciation of Dower was

Alachua County   } Whereas I William M. Thomas of
above State and County am justly indebted to Mrs Sarah
A. Stringfellow of Gainesville Same State and County in the
sum of One hundred and Twenty Five dollars which
said Sum of Money is covenanted to be paid by one Cer-
tain promissory note bearing even date herewith one for
the Sum of One Hundred and Twenty Five Dollars
payable Twelve months after date with interest @ one
per Cent per month. And whereas I am desirous of
fully and better Securing the payment of said note
and the Sum of money mentioned therein.
Therefore Know all men by these presents that I Wil-
liam M. Thomas for and in Consideration of the prem-
ises and of the Sum of one Dollar to me in hand paid
have granted bargained and sold and by these presents
do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Mrs
Sarah A. Stringfellow her heirs and assigns all the fol-
