in equity of the said party of the first part of in and 
to the same and every part and parcel there of with the appur
tenances: to Have and to Hold the above granted and des
cribed premises unto the said parties of the second part 
their heirs and assign for their own proper use benefit 
and behoof forever. Provided always and these presents  
are in this express conditions that if the said Jennie 
Richards or her heir executors or administrators shall 
well and truly pay, unto the said parties of the second 
part their heirs executors administrators or assigners the 
said sum of money mentioned in said promissary note 
as aforesaid according to the true intent and meaning thereof 
together with all costs charges and expenses which the 
said parties of the second part may incur or be put to in 
collecting the same by foreclosure or otherwise that then 
these presents and the estate hereby granted shall cease 
determine and be absolutely null and void, And the said 
party of the first part for herself her heirs executors and 
administrators does covenant and agree to pay unto the 
said parties of the second part their heirs executors ad
ministrators or assigns the sum of Five hundred Dollars 
and interest as mentioned in said promissary note and 
all costs charges and expenses which the said party of 
the second part may incur or be put to in collecting the 
sum by foreclosure or otherwise. 
In Witness whereof the said party of the first part has 
hereunto set her hand and seal the day and year first

me Jennie Richards to me well known as the person 
described in and who executed the foregoing Mortgage 
Deed and acknowledged that she executed the 
same for the purpose therein expressed; Whereupon it 
is prayed that the same may be recorded. 
In witness whereof I have hereunto affixed my hand 
and seal this Twenty Third day of October AD one thous
and eight hundred and eighty two.
