 F.W. Fontane To Richard B. Taylor
             "Mortgage"
State of Florida }
Alachua County   } Whereas we F.W. Fontane and B.W.
Fontane her husband of the Town of Micanopy in
the County and State aforesaid are indebted unto Richard
B. Taylor of said State and County in the aggregate Sum
of Three Thousand Eight hundred and Seventy Five
Dollars by our Two several promissory notes the first
of said notes being for the sum of Thirty Seven hun-
dred and fifty Dollars and dated the 7thday of
February AD 1882 and payable Nine (9) months after
the date thereof the second of said promissory notes
bearing date the 17th day of August AD 1882 and
payable Six months after the thereof, and the Same
being for the Sum of Eleven hundred and Twenty Five
Dollars each of the said two promissory notes bear-
ing interest from date at the rate of Twelve per Cent
per annum and we being desirous of fully and effectually
securing the payment of the said two promissory notes
Therefore know all men by these presents that we the
Said F.W. Fontane and B.W. Fontane her husband
for and in consideration of the premises and of the
said sums of money so owing by us as aforesaid have 
granted bargained sold assigned transferred and Mort-
gaged and by these presents do grant bargain sell
assign transfer and Mortgage unto him the said
Richard B. Taylor all of our Stock of general Mer-
chandise consisting of a general assortment or stock
of Boots and shoes, Dry Goods, Groceries, Hardware
Tinsware Chockery and Glassware Clothing, Hats, Caps, Notions
and Fancy Articles Cutlery &C and store fixtures and furni-
ture now situated and being in a store house occu-
pied by us in the Town of Micanopy in Alachua County
State of Florida and also in a store house occupied by 
us in the Town of Flemington in Marion County in the
State of Florida also all Cotton Corn or other produce
now on hand or hereafter to be purchased or bartered
for by us either in Alachua or Marion County in this
State. Also all goods or merchandise of any kind
species or description to be or which may be acquired by
us in future at either and both of our said Stores
in Micanopy and at Flemington aforesaid.
To Have and to Hold the Same unto him the Said
Richard B. Taylor and to his heirs and assigns forever

    the sum of money herein and hereby secured, this mortgage is hereby
   declared cancelled and discharged from the records.
