Provided, always nevertheless and this instrument is execu-
ted and delivered upon this expressed Condition that if we
the said F.W. Fontane and B.W. Fontane or either of us shall
and do well and truly and fully pay the full amount
of the said Two promissory notes above described at the 
times and dates when the same according to their legal
tenor and effect shall fall due and payable together
with all interest thereon to accrue then this obligation to be-
come wholly null and void otherwise to be and remain
in full force and virtue
